Ways to Give

† First Lutheran General Fund - The General Fund provides the financial support for all of the core ministries of the church. The congregation gives more than a tithe (10%) of general fund gifts to worthy beneficiaries that provide resources for children’s ministries, bible camping, emergency assistance, overseas missionaries, seminaries, nursing homes, etc.

† This Holy House Appeal – This appeal is a three-year “extra mile” commitment made by FLC members to support capital improvements to our campus. The appeal runs though May of 2011.

† Memorial Fund – The Memorial Fund receives gifts given in memory of loved ones. Gifts may be designated or undesignated. Brochures are available at the church.

† Endowment Fund The Endowment Fund receives gifts from which only the earnings can be allocated for various outreach ministries. Brochures are available at the church.

† ELCA World Hunger Appeal – This Appeal receives gifts year round to combat hunger throughout the world by providing funds for immediate relief, agricultural consulting, farm machinery, etc.

† Offering Envelope Packets – Packets of offering envelopes are mailed every two months. A number is printed on each envelope. These numbers provide the office staff with the means to track giving and provide documents that can be used for tax purposes.

† Simply Giving – is an automated way to make any gift! Forms are available at the Church Office.

† Time and Talent Giving – First Lutheran is an active and dynamic church! Our members are encouraged to participate in a wide variety of ministries and leadership opportunities.
