Opportunities abound to make friends, study the word, volunteer your service, pray, eat, and journey through life together with others in small groups! Some small groups have existed for a long time and others are forming or reforming currently. Friends are always welcome.
Whether you are a member or not, there is a place for you in a small group at FLC.
This year, the we celebrate the 500th Reformation Anniversary. Through sermons, small group meetings using guide books and videos, readings, and discussion, we are on a journey based upon the book, By Heart: Conversations with Martin Luther's Small Catechisms. This comprehensive resource for the study of Martin Luther's Small Catechism examines the Small Catechism as a historical, confessional document rich with history and applicable to life today.
Meet with a group of people with a common interest in a single book of the Bible or a topic that is examined throughout the Bible. Groups are formed as desired.
Several groups meet to discuss books from the popular culture on a monthly basis. Suggestions for titles are always welcome!
The women of FLC gather for many reasons. There are circles, a sisterhood, and social groups. They meet during the day or in the evening. Each is open to you.
